Some reviewers on other sites have said it is too bright, but it is easy to adjust using the menus on the screen or in my case, using Apple's monitor calibration. The fact that the two HDMI inputs is a big plus (with VGA). And if you have an older computer or laptop that has an HDMI output, includes a Samsung DVI to HDMI adapter cable that works (so you save money and take advantage of 1080p resolution). The colors are vibrant, blacks are deep and dark. Films and videos look great! I'm not a gamer, so I can not attest to the genre, but if you are looking for a high quality monitor at a good price, this is it.
