I upgraded from an HP w2207h, which I had had a couple of years ago and was very happy with it as well. It still works on another computer fine now. My primary use is to 2711x to write images with Adobe Photoshop CS5. The screen is very bright and can easily be adjusted between 50 and 60 to 60% brightness and 70% against, and I find color, the best I've seen in this price range. I've put most of the screen in the local dealers to highest brightness only the same color effect, I have received from 2711x to these areas to achieve this monitor found. As for sharpness is fantastic shine bright Class View display that makes the difference for me, because most monitors on the market, are semi-gloss, as I found out a good picture quality when it comes to pictures I use the screen for a private office environment that allows me to control the lighting in the room, so glare is not a problem with your vision bright screen. The build quality is fine and is still as good as any monitor in this price class. And 'LED, its light weight, which has all the connectivity options you really need and its 27 inches. I see my spare more than is the image I'm working. - It's not height adjustable.
