Overall I am very pleased with them and even more pleased with the excellent sale price I found on Amazon.com. Pros: * rock solid image quality is very well saturated and bright. * Easy to use controls and disk controller (which may be necessary for optimal resolution on some machines) * A sexy little colored indicator in the display changes from blue (a) to yellow (idle) of. * Strong support, fits easily adjusted. * Only the amount of "mate" an end to annoying glare and the "mirror" that some screens have, without any sacrifice in brightness or sharpness. Cons: * Like most LCDs, color changes little with viewing angle. If you are a graphic design or video editing studio with high standards for color calibration, buy a screen (much) more expensive IPS wherever possible. (I could not afford a decent monitor, IPS, and this cheap monitor reproduces colors better than many "bargain" IPS screens) * I will (permanently) large white letters on the bottom facet pretty annoying, even if you stop to notice that after a while. " * The screen is actually too light for most environments, even in daylight. I turned the brightness down to zero and is acceptable, but only because I never use the drive at night or in a dimly-lit room. Awesome! By Jaime I bought two of the ViewSonic VX2450WM-LED and received Tuesday. Absolutely gorgeous! Amazon should be commended for their great display of packaging boxes. The boxes were huge, and I'm impressed that Amazon took their time properly package before sending something to me. These monitors with LED backlight and CCFL replaced two monitors SAMSUNG 226BW I got from Amazon for three years. One of them broke after the warranty expired. The other is good, and I'm selling. Once you have a dual monitor setup, it is very difficult to re-use of a single monitor. This is my first time buying a ViewSonic LCD monitor I am so glad that I have the LED backlit screens, because the image is very nice for them. What a contrast to CCFL backlit displays! The colors are strong, and the text is much clearer IMO. The best part is that they both have the same amount of electricity as one of my old Samsung monitors. Can not go wrong! The resolution is nice step up from 1920 x 1080 instead of 1680 x 1050, which I had on my Samsung monitor.
