The best customer feedback 101 of 108 people found the following review helpful. Easy on the eyes, it's worth the extra price Kris Bryant Okay, I admit, I'm cheap. I do not want to spend $ 300.00 on a monitor of this size could get another brand with similar specs for almost half the price. However, this monitor has made me a believer. This monitor is so far from others of its kind that I feel compelled to write a review. :) My current monitor broke so I bought one of these places (PX230 Samsung) just to play with time I asked for some competitors to take them all a test drive. Although I liked the look of the monitor, I had no intention of keeping. Well, think again. Other monitors came. All LEDs, all with similar specifications, all major brands of the name you can trust. I tried them all for a few days each. After treating everyone in my house, I decided it's worth the extra price. In fact, it is well worth it. There are several things that make this monitor stand out from the crowd, but for me the most important of all is how easy it is for me, I am very sensitive to the refresh rate so flicker and often headaches and eye strain from being on computers. And 'difficult, because I have all day, 7 days a week. My work is online, most are also a great lover and I do a lot of photo and video editing. Refresh rate (non-response time) was one of the main specs I was looking for me, because normally a bad devil, if the refresh rate is at least 85. And yes, this is true on the LCD, too, not just the old CRT technology. However, this monitor lists only a refresh rate of 60Hz, which I always found too low. That's why I thought it would not work for me. Well, surprise, surprise, it was actually easier on my eyes of others I tested had high refresh rates. I do not know what they did in the technology, but this monitor is much better to reduce eye strain, I found I could look all day without eyestrain or headaches or burning, and me that says a lot! Another thing I like is that has 4 different brightness / contrast modes specifically designed for PC Internet applications, and entertainment, and you can switch between them with the touch of a button. It's great to go back and forth between looking at an Excel spreadsheet to edit photos for games or watching a movie. Seriously, with the push of a button you can switch to the optimal settings for each new job. This may sound a little strange, because you probably have never done, but believe me, once that has happened to these options, you will never go back. I used to hate all day to work in Excel spreadsheets and the like. All the black lines close together on a white background have been murdered before the eyes after a few hours, but with the proper method of boyfriends and a little tweaking (which is tailored to your taste) to look at a spreadsheet as it is relaxing to look of the window. So when they're ready to go to a game or a movie, I just want to pass the button to the appropriate setting, and all colors and perfect contrast to jump out at me. It's just fantastic! With any monitor that I had to choose a middle ground with my display settings, which always stands for compromise, but separated in this way, I can easily switch back and forth so that each operation is performed with the display settings ideal. It really makes a difference! The controls are in the back, which seems strange at first, but once you realize that the button is located under your finger, it's easy and intuitive. You basically just hold your hand in a natural position on the side of the screen and wiggle each finger (each) to the buttons, the trick is to remember that control is under your finger, then it is easy to work. I also like "MagicLux" function which detects the ambient light and adjusts the display accordingly. I tried this monitor in.
