Andrews First, let me say that my husband and I are "mature", even in dog years. Hardcore games will not happen to us. Last summer I decided to upgrade our 15 inch CRT to a widescreen flat manageable size. I know this is considered a small screen for today's standards, but it works well in the confines of the allocated space, has a fine image detail and color that you just have to numb our brains age. Feldman bought this as a second monitor for my 13 "MacBook, and I am very happy with it. The size and make this business is very good as the others I looked at were more expensive for the same size. You can really beat it by finding some crazy sale (~ $ 180 when I got it) It is pretty much what you'd expect from a monitor to do, and it has a nice polished look to. By Chuck My wife knew I wanted a screen of this size to connect to my 15''MacBook Pro. She surprised me with this on Christmas Eve. I have no idea how they chose this model, but it's a winner. The colors are brilliant. The contrast is excellent. The small text is very clear. There are no dead pixels. There is no color bleed or uneven color. This monitor is great as a PC monitor, but also to watch HD shows and movies. I'm not in the computer games, so I can not comment on the performance in this regard. There is no heat from the monitor. After hours of use, it is cold to the touch. You will not go wrong with this monitor.
